When your grass isn't growing use the time to care for your mower
When the grass is dry and not in need of cutting, that's the time to service the lawn mower, says Scott Johnson, service manager at Billings Lawn Equipment in Royal Oak, Mich. The machine's air and fuel filters should be replaced, and its blades should be sharpened. "Having maintenance done adds life to your mower," Johnson explained. Patch.com/Royal Oak, Mich.
